To all Warley Wasps Members and their families - May I first say a big thank you for your continued support during 2011, it has been greatly appreciated and has helped to ensure the survival of our club. The committee and non-committee members have worked tirelessly to provide meetings, which have been expertly planned and executed. It has been an absolute pleasure to hear all of the positive comments from other club members regarding the Wasps. As a team we always endeavour to put on quality meetings for the benefit of all our riders, both young and old. It is through the hard work, determination and enthusiasm of the Warley Wasps members that this is possible. Andy Manley Chairman

WIMBLEDON? GLASTONBURY?..........NAH! MOTOCROSS

Warley Wasps Schoolboy Scramble hosted their 9th Club Championship meeting at a fantastic track in beautiful Cleobury Mortimer on Sunday 26th June and to say it was a scorcher would be an understatement and the racing was hot too.

So to start the racing off we had the AMX group with Daniel Jagleiski taking all three race wins, with some excellent racing from Daniel Horne taking 2nd overall, Ashley Cotteril coming in 3rd overall and Nick Morris in 4th overall.

BURROWING DEEP ......

Warley Wasps Schoolboy Scramble hosted yet another fantastic meeting at the new incredible track Bicton in Shrewsbury situated right on the River Severn. To say we were lucky with the weather was the understatement of the year, considering what they had forecast.

With its long fast straight leading to the first corner the part dirt, part clay will become a huge favourite amongst riders and fans alike, I am sure this track will never fail to provide epic racing over the course of the weekends planned for the future. The track gets rougher and rougher as the day wears on so fitness plays a big part in doing well here.
